PROPOSED MOTION: To approve invitations to the Church Board for all voted ministry leaders of our church. Policy includes that the Board has a minimum of 7 members and a maximum of 12 members not including Board Chair. For those ministry leader positions that are shared, it is up to those ministry leaders to decide among themselves which leader will hold Board membership.

HOLIDAY FAMILY POTLUCK. December 17, 1–3 pm. Our Childrens & Family Ministries invites families—parents, guardians, and kids—to a delicious potluck lunch after the service.
VOLUNTEER FOR COMPASSION CONNECTION. Compassion Connection needs additional volunteers to help cover Wednesday and Friday shower and boutique shifts (9:30am - 3pm) through the Holiday season. LITTLE FREE LIBRARY. The Little Free Library is coming to Hollywood Adventist Church in early 2023. Our church is now partnering with this nonprofit organization. The new library will be located on the corner of Van Ness and Canyon to serve families in our community and neighbors. Stay tuned on how you can get involved. www.littlefreelibrary.org

BIBLE JOURNAL. Do you want to have a keepsake Bible journal from your studies in the book of Luke? Pastor Branden recommends certain English Standard Version editions of the book of Luke & Acts to use alongside the various sermon series we are venturing through this year. SABBATH SCHOOL. Our Adult Sabbath School classes have resumed their 10 am start time on Sabbath morning. They are a hybrid in person and Zoom class for those worshipping remotely. If you would like to join a Sabbath morning class, please email info@hollywoodsda.org and you will be directed to the teachers.
THE WELL (Women’s Ministry). THE WELL is on holiday break! We will resume in the NewYear starting Friday, January 13, 7:00pm (PST) via Zoom and every other Friday onwards. We maintain a donation-based clothing boutique to provide our shower guests with clean clothing and the dignity of a shopping experience. All while eliminating the barriers presented by a traditional monetary exchange transaction. We are in constant need of new and gently used t-shirts, pants, socks, and new underwear for all genders.
